Administrative Assistant

This individual is responsible for providing administrative support to the president. Duties include but are not limited to: database systems maintenance and training, office supply purchasing, meeting and volunteer coordination, solicitations, maintenance of records, assisting in planning of events and fundraisers, drafting letters, filing, mail outs, filling out forms, managing the organizational calendar, and other administrative tasks. 

Required Qualifications:

  • High school graduate

  • Clerical or administrative experience preferred

  • Nonprofit experience preferred

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work indendently and as a team

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office

  • High degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information

  • Ability to speak well with vendors, donors, potential donors, businesses, and government agencies.
