Administrative Assistant

This individual is responsible for providing administrative support to the president. Duties include but are not limited to: database systems maintenance and training, office supply purchasing, meeting and volunteer coordination, solicitations, maintenance of records, assisting in planning of events and fundraisers, drafting letters, filing, mail outs, filling out forms, managing the organizational calendar, and other administrative tasks. 

Required Qualifications:

  • High school graduate

  • Clerical or administrative experience preferred

  • Nonprofit experience preferred

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work indendently and as a team

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office

  • High degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information

  • Ability to speak well with vendors, donors, potential donors, businesses, and government agencies.

Marketing Professional

The Marketing and Communication Specialist has responsibility for overall communications, research-based messaging, marketing, and branding activity for Christalis. The Specialist will contribute towards increasing visibility and supporting the organization’s mission, vision, and goals. The Specialist will develop strategy, and public relations campaigns to attract donors and sponsors. The Specialist will develop and monitor publications, social media, web, news media, and marketing research. The Specialist will provide strategic research initiatives leading to the development and implementation of action plans for effective marketing of Christalis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably for a nonprofit 

  • Demonstrated skill and comfort in proactively building relationships with donors and external
    media, and in successfully positioning subject matter with the media to achieve high-impact
    placements

  • Extensive successful writing and editing experience with a variety of print and online
    communications media

  • Demonstrated experience in managing a comprehensive strategic communications, media
    relations, and marketing programs to advance an organization's mission and goals

  • Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and
    output

  • Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills, including negotiation and conflict
    resolution skills

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a budget

  • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs

  • Excellent and persuasive communicator

  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively
    interact with senior management, board members, president, staff,
    and volunteers

  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive

  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and other related communication/marketing
    software and the ability to learn and use other software systems

  • Experience with all the main social media platforms

Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director. The Coordinator will assist with the overall strategic and operational responsibility for the Country Office staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. The Coordinator will also assist with local fundraising, networking and government requirements. The Coordinator will utilize project data to make future projects more productive and cost-efficient. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Senior, Bachelors Degree or Graduate Student in International Studies, Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, Social Work or related field. 

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.

  • ·      Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing a comprehensive strategic communications, media
    relations, and marketing programs to advance an organization's mission and goals
